Buying Repossessed Houses in Scotland
After reading this article on repossessed houses for sale in Scotland, I think it may be a great place to purchase a repossessed house.
Has anyone had any experience in purchasing repossessed properties in Scotland?

I haven't. But the link that you gave was really helpful.

Repossessed properties in Scotland are coming onto the market a lot slower than the rest of the UK: the peak selling period for such properties will be at the end of 2009, or at the beginning of 2010.

Buying a repossessed house can be a great way to get on the property ladder, or grab an otherwise unaffordable bargain. Before buying a repossessed house, there are things to think about.
What happens when you buy a repossessed property?

Basically buying repossessed houses is like any other purchase with the benefit of getting the property at a lower price due to a repossession - cause the owner has not paid his dept. So after you purchase, you are the rightful owner and you can enjoy all the right and obligations from that title. House repossessions are a great business opportunity as well.
Buying a repossessed house as a process can be interesting to learn about also.

Thanks Bibika,
This last link on buying repossessed houses was especially helpful. I've been thinking of entering this business for some time. being a real estate agent, i see grate movements in UK real estate market and I believe that as the crises it taking over again, repossessions may be the next great way to earn some money.
Thanks again,
Mary
