Something I have read about is mortgage rescue, the Govt will help with interest payments after 13 weeks to a maximum loan of 200K so I have just read.

I am in a similar situation; what I wanted to know is: if there is a shortfall - what are my options? I don't want to file bankruptcy, nor do I want repossession.

Is there any help available? I was unemployed for 5 months or so. Now I have got a job. Any advice.

House price inflation has delivered healthy equity to many UK homes. But the rise of 100%-plus loan-to-value mortgages has put negative equity back in the headlines. If your home is worth less than your mortgage, you will be seriously out of pocket if you sell.Find out how much equity you have in your home and what would happen if prices rolled back to previous levels.

I can recommend a real good Mortgage Deals Agents Service, so you can find the best mortgage deals no matter what your situation is.
There guys have help me a lot during the strike of the reception at the beginning of 2011. I needed to find a way to stop house repossession order for my family home and I needed a good remortgage deal fast, cause the other way to go was to lose my home.
I would highly recommend these guys to anyone.
    Best,
